Learning Resources
Our learning resources
The HCA-II learning approach is developed and delivered to consolidate and share our learning. Learning resources incorporate a wide range of activities and learning opportunities from learning briefs, webinars, reflective sessions, and events to case studies, tools, and guidance. They take place both at the individual project level as well as across the whole programme.
Programme-Level resources
Our programme-level learning cycle includes bi-annual reflection workshops as part of our on-going monitoring processes, as well as more in-depth learning through larger exercises at the mid-point and toward the end of the programme. We also have an external global learning partner (GLP) based out of the Institute of Development Studies that supports and facilitates additional learning around emerging areas from programme delivery that require further reflection.

About the MILE
The Mid-term Internal Learning Exercise (MILE) was formative exercise intended to support learning around what is working well and what adaptations can be made to the HCA-II programme with an aim to enhance overall delivery and ultimately, impact.

Equity & Inclusion - Formative Learning Paper
The report identifies good practices supporting Equity & Inclusion in the HCA-II programme, mapping out challenges and bringing out tacit knowledge and practical solutions tried by projects that help to navigate these.
Project-Level resources
Projects are collecting valuable data that informs their learning. The objective is to enable others to learn from their experiences, reflections and lessons learned. Based on their experiences of implementation, each project funded by HCA-II produces their own learning resources.

Así Vivo Mi Calle
The VMC project in Colombia produced learning around implementation of the first phase of their project (2018−2022) under HCA-I, which informed adaptations to their activities delivered in HCA-II (2022−2026).
